Exclamation Yup, me too with the (code 10) :knife:

Ok, This code 10 thing started ever since I reinstalled Windows XP. I've got that sandisk player and when I plug it in it says '' Problem occured during hardware installation etc....'' So, I tried the whole uninstalling reinstalling junk with the ''usb mass storage device'' and restarting and the exclamation mark still came up. Tried updating. Plugged it in directly to the usb with the designated 2.0 usb. And i checked all updates. And I don't really understand anything else anyone posted concerning bios, the master thing, and stuff about the motherboard. I'm obviously new at this. Please help With anything you can pull from under your sleeves. I will forever be sad until then.

Code 10 usually that USB is not all in there...or theres a conflict

    Remove sandisk from machine
remove and uninstall all associated drivers

Make sure all motherboard and chipset drivers are installed and there are no yellow exclamation marks in the device manager, especially under USB.

go to miscrosoft windows updates and download all updates and service packs for your machine.

When complete and when device manager is clear of yellow marks

    reboot into safe mode
    install sandisk drivers
reboot and plug sandisk player in

Check you are using the latest driver and for updates at above link.
