    stalled startup

    I have this strange thing, That when my xp boots, I can see the desktop (without the icons yet), And it takes about 2 minutes until i can see icons and start to work. I tried to disable things in the msconfig, But it didn't helped.
    It seems to have to do with some unseen processes or things like that.
    How can i analyse this ?

    Well....Played with HIJACKTHIS and noticed that some vmware lines refused to get "fixed" by the program.
    Uninstalled VMWARE 6 and VOILA !!! computer works like a charm !

    Its usually some software or driver.

    Man....I couldn't think of a solution for 2 monthes...And just as i posted i had an inspiration and did it in 5 minutes....LOL
