Blue screen of death 0x00008e
Recently got a new computer. So i went laning with some friends all night, but when i tried to boot it up afterwards it loaded to the desktop, then everything went blue.. the blue screen of death
It gave me the info:
0x00008e
0x000005, 0xBA9DDCAE, OXB6CABB54, 0X000000
i started to reboot it time after time for any possible solution, but after a while it wouldn't even boot up the OS. I reinstalled the OS, and now i'm back to square one
I got Windows XP home edition with Service Pack 2
Geforce GT 9600 512 mb gaphic
4 gigabyte ram
500 gigaby HDD

Welcome to Windrivers Rify
What make and model is your computer?
Can you get to safe mode?
This is either a driver problem - or it could be a rootkit or other malware.

Check the RAM, first remove/reinsert the sticks, then run a memory test.
