Internet Explorer hacks
HI All,
I was wandering around the net today looking for a hack to add my own buttons to IE's toolbar when i came across a program that was just the ticket! Its called AddaButton (original name huh?) and its available from Harmony Hollow along with a few other bits and bobs....and best of all, its all freeware. I've tried it out, added a link to my ISP's status page and a shortcut to Agent and it works like a dream. Best of all though, i also came across a Google hack for IE that adds a Google search bar, Page rank system and some other goodies. Seeing how all us techies love Google so much i thought i'd tell ya about it, get it here: Google Toolbar Installer
The installer is web based so you link to Google's terms and conditions first. I've installed it and its great, i just type straight into the google search box in my browser rather than having to actually go to Googles site!
Now...that must save me at least 10 seconds a year with both those hacks combined...fabulous!

If you have Win 2k or Win Xp you can do this with Group Policy Editor. (Or gpedit.msc) for short.
You can also change the IE title name, or change the still and moving logo in the upper right courner.

Ah yes, but did you know you can have Google display results to you in Pig Latin, Hacker, Esperanto, or even in Swedish Chef (from the Muppet Show).
Go to Google click on 'preferences' to the right of the search box and select 'Pig Latin', or whatever, from the drop down languages menu, save the changes, and presto you have Googkle in Igpay Atinlay.
