Take a look at the cable on your phone charger. You will notice where the cable is connected to the block that plugs in to the wall is a USB connecter. Disconnect and you have you PC cable now.
It's not the computers that keep having problems, it's the users!!

Take a close look at your charger. Chances are excellent that the cable is detachable, and has a standard USB connector. Between wife and kids, we have four Samsung phones, and they all have a removable cable with standard USB A connector on one end and a flat micro USB on the phone end. If this doesn't apply in your case, you can get a cable at newegg.com for about 2 bucks.

Thanks Zonie... I replied while super zoned out at 3ish in the morning while I couldn't sleep. You are right, the cable works!

Thanks to you too! Lesson learned; don't think too hard at 3am when you can't sleep!

Zonie and I did a classic cross post there. But since we both agreed, it wasn't too embarrassing. Anyway, I've done some of my most imaginative and creative posts at 3 A.M. No worries.

You are welcome. Lack of sleep can cause missteps on occasions and we all have done it at times.
