[RESOLVED] Just shoot me !

A client came into the shop this afternoon for the 10th time in the last week only this time he was escorting his Mom,He told my tech he only wanted to talk to Jim, as we are old friends from High School? Okay we went to the same School but friends??? give me a break! I'll explain He was the stoner that took one or more to many acid trips in the 60's, And me well I was the Defensive Captain of the Football team, Ran Track. etc, GPA 4.00 and went to College,quit school and inlisted in the Army. 67-73, While he was a ward of the state with a scrambled brain. Hell he still lives with Mommy and Daddy at 54 years of age, never worked a day in his life. Friends ?????
Any way he talked his Mom into Buying a Computer.
So while I was talking to his Mom and writting up a work order he was wondering all over the shop, So for the $550. she has to spend I am building her a system. But I refused to teach Pete how to run it!
And I can tell that this is going to be one of those ! Dah I didn't do nothin it just don't work !
On the way out Tony (my tech) said he told Mom she got a special deal cause we is bud's
sense High School. Oh God Someone shoot me!

I used to have a few of those and make it like im so busy i never have time (which i is true) and recommend a book or cd for teaching ... ahhh got to love how to listen to techs for dummies

Sounds like you guys were tight. I'm sure you will be seeing more of him, now that you did him the "big favor".

His mom, "Pete, can you go down to the store for me for a quart of buttermilk?"

Pete, "Oh mom, that would mean I have to put on a shirt."

Mom, "You can take the car...and why don't you drop by your friend Jim's shop on the way."

Pete, "Cool, thanks mom!"

Friends are clients you don't charge. None the less when it comes computers there are alot of people that think they are friends!!

Ole pete Don't drive state refused to issue him a Drivers License years ago ! Like I said in my Org.Post He scrambled his brain in the 60's on a Super Acid Trip (STP). And spent 9 years as a guest of the state! (State Hostital) And "WE ARE NOT NOW NOR HAVE WE EVER BEEN FRIENDS".
Oh what the hell just shoot me !
