I had a really "wonderful" experience... a friend of a friend of etc... called at 1:30AAAAAM -- needed help fixing comp. I asked what was the last thing he did.
You all know where this is going ---- "I did not do anything wrong!!", friend. I asked what was the last thing he did -- this went on until he told me he was following instructions from an email. It detailed how to uninstall programs from w9x.
He told me he erased a folder since the program did not have an uninstall. The program--- SYSTEM amoung others-- windows of course.
When I told him he needed to reinstall w98 and all associated HW -=- he told me that he would be happy to pay $10.00 to make a house call... I nearly gaged .. I knew some of what he had and it would be over three hours of work and he wanted me to use my copy of w98 -- his wouldn't install properly (it said memorex on the face :P).
P.s. Best part he lived over 40 miles away....
DNRC- let the new world begin.

Salutations,
Does everyone here live around me or something? We get a lot of those type of customers into the store. Either that or they start talking about how milk cost them a nickle back in 1920 and stuff like that and they shouldn't have to pay a $50 dollar bill. Others are better about it. I have one guy that just about pays me to sit there and listen to him talk about his life.
Here is another idea. Put a sign up saying all merchindise will be turned over to you if you do not recive payment within XX amount of days. Or anything left for morethen XX days without forewarning will be considered store property for payment of work. Would that be legal?
-Darren- Don't feel bad, I tend to spend more then five minutes here too.
