    Post Intel Triton chipset

I'm trying to install an Accton 1207TX network card in an old system with the Intel Triton chipset. It's an FIC board I think.

It's running Windows 95 OSR2 and whatever I do it flags the network card as not working. Says drivers have not loaded correctly.

I could be wrong (I often am) but IIRC this NIC only works in Win98/ME. The ones I am thinking were OEM in HP systems... is this the one?

Thanks for the reply, but I've got it working now.

I thought maybe there were some drivers I should be installing for the Triton chipset, but it was simpler than that. There was an ISA sound card with an IDE port for the CD-ROM drive. Removed it and the network card works - no problem. <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">
