Does anyone know of problems arising from this drive. ie Overheating, Trashing disks, misreading size of disk.

While trying to read the disk the unit spins up OK but the Disk comes out very hot and the unit is very hot as well externally especially underneath.

I have had two units fail this way so far in the last six months.
