Invalid VxD dynamic link call
I am getting the following error message everytime windows boots:
"Invalid VxD dynamic link call from C80E12EE to device "3374", service 3"
I have tried reinstalling windows, re-installing all device drivers, but to no effect.
I have searched the registry for any occurences of C80E12EE or 3374 but there are none.
I have searched the MS Knowledgebase but to no effect.
I have tried starting the PC in basic mode (no win.ini, system.ini etc) using msconfig, but the error still occurs.
Can anybody suggest how to isolate what device or VXD is causing the problem. How do I find out what Device 3374 is? what is Service 3?
Short of re-installing windows in a fresh directory, any ideas?
System Spec
Compaq Presario 4810
Windows 98 SE
Thanks in advance
Graeme
