BIOS Flash
I am helping a small business woman with a PC problem.
AMD BIOS:
p400-001437-00101111-101094-486AVIP-H
I cannot flash the BIOS on the PC. The flash program starts and immediately gives an error. I downloaded what should be the right BIOS.
Problem CMOS cheskum error. First thought was the CMOS battery, changed that and it still wont work, added an external battery and still no luck. PC works fine as long as you don't shut it if you do it stops with the CMOS checksum error and wont start till you go into the cmos settings.
This woman cannot afford to upgrade right now she is a single monther and is running a small business off this machine. We hope this coming summer to replace this machien but in the interrum she cannot turn it off without resetting the cmos
