HP sux ***... Here is the story (this was yesterday). A customer of mine wanted to install a Voodoo3 into his HP Pavillion (newest model, forgot the #s). The only way to install the card is to disable the onboard video (intel 810x crap). BUT the bios did't give you the option to disable it lmao. SOOOOOOOOOOO I called 3DFX to see if they have any little tricks, and after waiting 45 minutes listening to crappy repeating elevator music, they said that you cant use any other video cards in that machine unless it's a v2 with the jumper cable for the back (what i needed to hear in 15 secs and waited to hear for 45 mins!). So.... I thought i would give HP a Call....
I called and got some dumbass bitch on the line. I told her the dilema and since it wa a 3rd party card she wouldnt help me unless i gave her my cc# and charged me for $25... Meanwhile this computer is still under warranty until 2001. So I asked her IT IS FIXABLE and she said yes... So i hung up on her, and scoured the Motherboard for jumpers/misc bios settings, anything.. Found nothing so i called HP back with a CC# and got a guy this time, He said that that MB you CANNOT DISABLE THE ON BOARD VIDEO...

What a bunch of jackasses. LMAO
I know Hp's sux and are propreitary but this is the lamest thing i've ever seen in my life.

Other than me telling my friend to stick his finger in the empty light bulb socket as i turn on the switch lmao..

BTW it was an INTEL BOARD!!!!!!!!!!
