I have 2 machines, one a 500 K62 and one a pentium 133. I want to network them for DSL sharing. One problem, i cant get it to work, do i need to have a hub inbetween the machines? someone told me that and i dont know if there is any merit to it. so here is what i have,
  • umpteen million feet of network cable
    4 network cards
    a hub, with no power supply
    2 computers
    and a DSL modem
    oh yah, all in win98
