I have an Acer 4x4x32 which chicks a few (2-4) times when I insert a CD, then it says that the Drive is not ready/not accessiable. I have been evaluating CD writing software using a dual boot (win98 on C and D using bios to switch)... I hope this has killed the drive driver wise... but I keep recalling the click of death from the zip drives... Any thoughts or opinions???
