This is just stumping me...

I'm working on a Dell Latitude laptop with Windows 2k Pro. When I try to dial out with the modem it reports "no dial tone". If I take the phone number out of the number to call box, it gets a dial tone.

I've tried different modems and none of them work. 3com, Linksys, and a generic PCMCIA modem...

Tried installing SP2, but no difference...

Any ideas?
