I installed W2k over win98 to see what it was like. I converted 1 partition C:\ to NTFS and everthing was ok. I then wanted to do a clean install, but was unable to format that partition. I used my win98 startup disk but the C:\ was really my D:\, I was unable to see the real C:\ partition. But luckily I had partion magic on my d:\ and was able to reformat the true c:\ NTFS. When I installed W2k it found a problem with the NTFS that Partition Magic did, but fixed the problem and everytings ok. I was wondering is there any easier way of doing this???
