Windows 2k with Windows NT 4
I have install Windows NT 4.0 on Compaq notebook Armada E500, with PIII 700/128MB RAM/12GB HD/DVD/****.I have configured all devices , and everything worked as planed.
Then i instaled Win2k as a dual boot configuration on different partition , and everithing worked as planed.
BUT whene I restarted the system back to Windows NT4.0 ,the sound did not worked (driver did not load), and some other errors , with no I/O conflicts .I rebooted back to Windows 2000 , all is well. I restarted back in Win NT 4 , and errors.
I have remove and reinstalled all drivers under Win NT 4.0 , service pack 6a and with no effect.
On another machine . I have installed Win 2k first , but then i decide to install Win98SE for dual boot . After installation Win 98 will boot up only in safe mode ?
Does any one had similar problem , and hove they fixed it.
