Cannot load CDROM drivers...
OK, I'm an idiot. I was reinstalling Win98 on my father's computer and FDISKed and FORMATed the hard drive. Normally I would FDISK and then run setup. That's always accomplished what I've needed, but for some reason I encountered problems w/this install so I FDISKed and FORMATed to fully clean the drive. However, in doing so, I wiped out the CDROM drivers. I've done this a couple of times at work, but I've been fortunate enough to have someone around that could bail me out. The BIOS can be set to boot from the CD, but I haven't been able to install the drivers for the CDROM so it isn't recognized. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I've tried the setup routine on the CDROM's driver diskette that my father had and MSCDEX, but neither have worked. Any suggestions?!?
