No ICS on LAN
Greetings all. My 3 PC LAN stopped talking the other day and I am out of ideas. I have had all three talking to each other and sharing the Internet but one day it all stopped.
My network is
A = Win 2K with ICS enabled
B = Win ME
C = Win 98 SE
I got A and B to see each other, but C will not talk to either A or B nor will either talk to C. I have reinstalled protocols, reinstalled drivers for NICs, tried different cables, checked for conflicting IPs and tried a different hub all in vain.
I think the problem lies in the Win2K machine since I can ping it from PC B, but when I try it in Win 2K I get and error reading ?PING: transmit failure, error code 65.? What does this mean and how can I fix it?
Any advice is helpful?
