[RESOLVED] bus mastering
I am confused.I have a pentium 100 with an intel 82371FB PCI IDE Xcelerator; I have four available PCI slots; I am runnign under Win95. I have tried to install a Dlink network card and a scsi card for a HP scnajet 5p scanner. (both cards work on another machine). Plug and play finds both and installs the drivers etc, and asks for reboot. After reboot, both the Dlink and teh Scsi entries in the device manageer show yellow flags, even though there are no IRQ conflicts, and the indication that "this device is not working properly..." I have uninstalled, reset the cards in the slots, etc but nothing ever changes. Then I noticed that in the CMOS,there is this entry for the Primary IDE controller: "Intel PIIX PCI IDE Controller (Bus mastering not supported)" Is this my problem? If so, what can I do about it?
I will be grateful for any help
