I keep getting the Error Msg: UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME
STOP:0X000000ED (0X82F34738,0XC0000185,0X00000000,0X00000000)
when attempting to fresh install XP Home Edition from the XP CD. It installs the installation files but on reboot I always get the same error message. I have tried to reintall but get the same thing.

I have tried repartitioning and reformatting the C hard drive, checking for viruses and checked my bios settings. It still gives me the same error.

I have a Intel PIII 800 w/768 MB Ram, Diamond Viper 770 32MB AGP Video Card, Diamond Supra SP-I ISA Modem, SBLIVE Sound Card and a Gigbyte GA-6VXE7+ Mobo. Any body have any ideas?
