I can't get the onboard sound to work in XP-Pro on a P4 1.7 Ghz P4B Asus motherboard. The Post Reporter functions fine, however there is no sound in Windows. I have tried the drivers on Asus sight as well as a few reference drivers found elsewhere. The sound is enabled in Bios as well as Midi support. Any suggestions besides get an off board solution? This board and cpu are going to my dad when he gets out of the hospital, So I would like it to give him answers when he asks how to set it up..thanks in Avance, errr, I mean advance.
