I have a couple 2000 workstation laptops that I would like to put together into a cluster. A program they run (I think it has something to do with autocad) uses hours and hours of computing time to produce a 5 to 10 second clip.

In the classroom all the desktop machines have dual processors to handle this, but two of the teachers are going to a confrence and will be needing to use this program in single processor laptops.

Is there a way I can put the two together to share processor power?
