HP Scanjet 6200C making me nuts
Good grief, I've tried everything to get the HP PrecisionScan Pro software to recognize the scanner. I'm using it as a USB connection, btw. First, had to wait 4 days to get the CD from HP, as they do NOT have the drivers on the HP website. Then, performed all troubleshooting suggestions I could find in the HP pages, Dell pages, ScanPro help pages, including deleting the USB entry from the registry. That took care of the system not recognizing the scanner.
The odd part is that I can use the HP ScanJet Copy program, so something is going on, communication-wise.
Winner that solves the dilemma for me gets handsful of my very own hair, FREE! I have PILES of it at this point, and very little of it is on my head, if you get me.
