I'm trying to sync my sony clie sl10/u to my laptop via IR.

Laptop is running Win98se.

I set the stuff so that the system used a com port in its IR, and set up the hotsync to point at that com port. However, the fool thing refuses to sync!



I'm at my wit's end. I've tried many different configs, but to no avail. Any suggestions would be useful.

Laptop itself is an AST P-100 jury-rigged into a 166 with 24mb of ram.
