Just got Vrizon DSL here 5 miles from Adelanto Ca. (Near Victorville). I hooked it up to my trusty Linksys Router and powered up. Wonder of wonders, it chatted a bit with Verizon, and the router and then the modem begining bringing data to me! After all the "DSL hell" stories I have heard, I was very surprised to find the hookup so easy. Must retract at least a few of my bad feelings about Verizon. I'm getting around 700 KB of download speed. Not bad for a country boy.
