Stupid network problem
This is gonna be easy, must be friday cos my melon is a bit slow today.
Trying to network two comps with an X-over cable.
2000 can ping XP but not the other way round. XP sees itself in the workgroup folder but 2000 always gives the "workgroup not available" error
Setup IPs 192.168.100.1 and 2, same workgroup. LAN cards both work and are lit up, cable has been tested. File and printer sharing enabled on both.
Theres something obvious I've overlooked but cant put my finger on it today
