WinXP slow when loading pics.
Whenever I try and open a folder which has pictures in it, the loading time is ridiculous (45+ seconds). As well, once the folder loads, once I click on a picture to select it takes a similar amount of time. If I go to rename it, the same time delay happens.
What can I do to stop this?
This happens to the folder regardless of what style it's in (list, icon, filmstrip, etc.)
And it happens with my folders which contain 200+ pics, as well as a folder which has 5 pictures.
I regularly run Symantec VirusScan, Spybot - Search and Destroy, and Ad-aware.
Any ideas?
