USB camera download problem
Hi. This is my first post. I recently purchased a Concord 3340z digital camera. My computer at home is running windows 98 second edition. I followed directions on installing the mass usb drivers. Everything appeared to install correctly. The camera is supposed to show up as a removable disk drive (drive f) when conncected to the usb port. It gives no error message, but it does not show up at all. The usb ports work - I have 2 usb ports and use one for my printer and the second I use for another digital camera (which works. This camera, however, does not show up as an extra drive). I took my camera to my place of work, and it installed there fine. Therefore, nothing is wrong with my cable, camera or usb ports.
Is there any way in windows 98 to enable extra disk drives?
Computer specs:
Athlon 1100mhz
ram: 512 mb
USB: 2 ports
Drives: d: dvd-rom and e: cdrw
Any ideas and help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Smallfry
