    Question lost windows

    i have 98se pc that when it was rebooted it booted to dos.prior to this it was on-line playing a game.how can i get windows back?the h.d shows up in boot up
    and in the bios correct.tried to run scandisk but said i needed extended memory driver.i tried the command "exit "at the C: prompt and in the windows directory too.
