N force II - what gives!!
I upgraded to a DFI nfi II ultra infinity board because i was having issues with my old one(long story)
Once i got it working it kept blue screening with page faults. The mem i have is twinmos pc3200 cl2.5 and i had it dual banked. i changed it to normal and i had to dropped the men speed from the default of 200 to 150mhz. ( seems to work)
The cpu is an xp2500 barton core, golden sample i call it, runs at 3200 by default. Set the clock speed to 200 and the multiplier to default.
I've had no exposure to n force boards are they a pain in the butt, i have used via chipset boards in the past and had no prob. Whatever i thrown in them worked.
