Hi, I have been experiencing a problem downloading anything at all from the Gigex site. I'm running Windows XP S1a with all the updates and patches,IE 6 with all the service packs and updates,Google Toolbar, Norton Antivirus 2003, Norton Firewall 2002, and Sun's JAVA VM and Comcast broadband.
Whenever I try to download anything, I get all the advertisements, but just a blank areawhere the "Download Dashboard" is supposed to be. I have tried every liberal "infect and take over my pc" security setting with the above software, every security setting enabled and every combination in between (well maybe not every as the permutations would be quite large) as well as enabling/disabling all Active X scripting and I still get no download. Checking the Taskman indicates no networking or cpu activity. I tried downloading Firefox, but Gigex apparently doesn't support that browser. I don't have any problems downloading anything from any other site.
Has anyone else experienced this problem and found a resolution? I realize that my life doesn't depend on downloading updates for games but it sure would be nice to download the updates to the games that I have paid for and are only offered there. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
