First let me say I have fixed Shutdown problems on at least 15 systems with the Windows Shutdown patch. The patch does not work on the following issue. I have had 3 systems in shop in the last month for the exact problem. the problem is when you go to START,SHUTDOWN,Select Shutdown OR Restart the system blinks for 1/2 second and goes right back into windows, the system does NOT hang it just will not restart or shutdown from any where, even if Windows prompts for a restart, it ignores it and goes directly back into windows. Like I said 3 customers have had this issue, I spoke with HP tech support they tried all the tricks, so if you know of any resolution to this please inform me. Thanks Jason
