I am looking for a software that will handle web based mail mainly. I honestly don't care what platform it runs on (Windows or Linux) but a major part is the price. I am looking for something free. I know that just killed 99.9999% of any chance at finding anything but it is worth a shot. It needs to be able to handle about 500ish users total that will use it on a limited basis.

As usual anything you guys can come up with is greatly appreciated.
