Crashing Games
I'm hoping someone can give me a starting point on how to investigate the problem on the following system: -
ABIT VI7 + pentium 4 2.8
LG GSA-4081B internal E-EID
Seagate 120GB hard drive (successfully installed, formatted and partitioned).
Creative soundblaster live 5.1
Inno GeForce FX5200
Windows98SE
When I'm playing Armed & Dangerous, very occasionally (but annoying when it happens) the picture freezes and I have to pull the plug.
When I reboot it says I didn't shut down properly, and does the usual checks for errors on the C: drive.
Then the graphics on the desktop are all too large, and I have to reload the drivers for the GeForce FX5200 graphics card to get the picture back to a reasonable size.
I must have done this about 20 times now and its irritating.
Any idea how to track the real problem down and fix it?
Thanks for your help.
