Moving XP to another drive.
Hello
Is this possible?
I would like to move my XP PRO installation to another drive.
I have XP installed on a Quantum QM39100TD-SW SCSI drive which is an Ultra2 40M. My SCSI controller is a U160 which is a 160M. Because of the Ultra 2 drive, and I have 2, the rate is being dropped down to 40M for the entire system. I have a third drive that is a DDYS-T18350N that is a U160 drive. I would like to move the XP installation to this third drive then remove the two Ultra2 drives. Is this possible? Or do I have to reinstall XP. The system is a Dual PIII 866. Can I just copy the \%systemroot%\ to the new drive and have it work??
