Liteon DVDRW LDW-411S Quit Working...
I have a LDW-411S DVDRW/CDRW that I use in Windows Media Player to burn CD's and I use with DVD X-Copy Platinum to burn DVDs. All of the sudden, in the last week, it can't do either one. It worked fine last week.
In Media Player it gives me an error message saying it can't write media to the Disc (and yes I'm sure it's a good blank CD).
In DVD-XCopy, it copies the movie to the hard drive, prompts for the BURN media, and then takes about twice as long to write the DVD as usual. Then, when it gets to finalizing the disc, it just hangs there indefinitely.
I thought it was a glitch with the DVD burning software until I found the problem with Media Player too.... anyone have any suggestions at all? I went to the LiteOn site and downloaded the newest flash, only to find out that I already had the newest one.
I'm stuck... help.
