Blank at Windows? XP No Problem? Wow!
Hello!
I was wondering if anyone here can help me. The main problem that I am trying to fix is...
When I turn on my computer, it loads and reaches to my desktop in 15 seconds. But now, when I turn on, my computer loads for a long time at the "Windows is Starting up" screen at EXACTLY 1 minuite! strange! So I kept reading other people's forum to see if they have the same problem, and their remedy is System Restore.
AND NOW, the problem I need help on is stranger than the startup one!!!
When I opened the system restore, it shows me a blank screen. I thought it was a virus or spyware, (my computer is very clean) so I opened adaware and norton antivirus. adaware works but when i opened norton, I get the same blank screen. I clicked on "options" in norton and got a blank screen too. I thought I need a windows update so I went to the update site. When I click "express update" it wont load! I got bored and went to a small website game, it didnt load either!! I looked carefully and noticed that JAVASCRIPT things are not loading!!! Any thing that requred jacasvript popup didnt load, just gave blank too.(windows, other places that need javascript) WOOow! maybe norton and system restore use it to make the text showup instead of a blank screen? I have no idea....
So now, the problem I need help on is to get these blank screens working so I can do system restore. etc.
Please help!!
(I am running Windows XP Pro Service Pack 2, problems started at SP1)
(Formatting my computer is not an option for me...lose soo many things!)
(custom level security on internet options are enabled........i think)
