Creative Q?
Hi
I tried to install an E-MU card and still run Dell's OEM SB203 card for multimedia playback. Couldn't resolve IRQ and driver conflicts, but my question is this:
In one of my late night efforts to 'clean up' my PC and get ready to build a cheap DAW with what I got, I deleted devldr.exe file that Creative dumps all over the running processes. Do I need this file to be able to run their product and drivers?
I went back and reinstalled the old card and everything seems to be running, but I am wondering if this .exe file somehow regulates signal traffic and creates problems elsewhere. Plus I'd love to muck with the E-MU 0404 (their enrty level D/A system....now owned by Creative as well.)
Thanks
Frank
