Usually mine & other Brits 'mickey taking' is reserved for the 'stuuuupoid yankee doodlies' & they in turn pick on the Canadians - however time for an exception !

I mean we sell you a second hand, only slightly used submarine, as them 'mean' yankees won't & YOU BREAK IT - ...

They are btw generally meant to sail about under the water, not on it , especially in a storm

Rescue ships head for submarine

A full scale emergency operation is under way to rescue a Canadian submarine drifting without power ... The submarine was travelling to Canada after being handed over to its new owner by the Royal Navy on Saturday ..A Canadian Navy spokesman said the sailors were "getting tossed to and fro something crazy."

The Times had reported previously that Canada was considering legal action over the ships.
Definately a case of 'buyer beware' & appropriate use !
