Repair install hangs
Customers new Gateway. Would not boot. Low virtual memory error on startup. Removed hard drive and scanned on bench machine. Found 4036 virii, trojans, etc. Cleaned/deleted all. Replaced hard drive. No joy. Repair/ install. Hangs at 35 min. Knowledge base says uninstall Anti-virus, remove peripherals, cards, etc. If it's the Norton Anti-virus hanging the repair, how do I remove it? Can not boot in any mode, stuck in install. Drive is ntfs.
