Have I bought the right USB2 card?
I am in the process of installing hardware upgrades to my husband's Celeron 700mhz PC with MicroStar m/bd. I have just upgraded it from ME to XP Home.
I bought a Belko Low Profile PCI card with two ext and one int port from PC World today. I have just noticed that the bit you put in the slot is not the same as the network card I successfully installed last night ie the slots have one long bit withb a tiny gap and a short bit same as the network card but the USB2 card has a long middle bit and two short side bits. Can I fit it or not and what is a low profile card anyway? I do not want to open the bubble pack if there is a chance it is the wrong part.
