DVD-Rom wont play recorded DVDs
I recently bought a Emachines laptop Model number 6805, its a great laptop, but unfortunately it wont play any recorded DVDs, no matter what kind or type of disk i use (DVD+R or DVD-R). The name of the drive is Liteon Combo Slimtype LSC-24082K. The software i useed to make copys of the original DVDs are DVD X-COPY, 123DVDCOPY, and ICOPYDVD2. Those copied DVDs work in other DVD-Rom Drives and home DVD players. Here is the fun part i checked the specificans of the drive and i learned that this drive does support DVD-R or DVD+R, Then i tried pdating the firmware but there is no firmware out for this drive, any solution to this problem please email me at removed for your own protection.
