Toshiba DVD SD-R6112 problems (could be a generic issue?)
Hi folks
I have this model of DVD Writer on my laptop. The DVD and writer can read and write cds/dvds fine.
However, if I change CD or DVD then the DVDROM will *not* recognise the fact that I have changed CD despite many attempts to 'refresh in WindowS explorer. THe only way for the DVD ROM to recognise that a new CD is now in the drive is to reboot the PC .
Is this a hardware issue or do I simply need to update my drivers??? Has anyone else had similar issues?
