computer still hangs, i'm stumped!
i replaced the ram with a known good one, did a memtest86 v 1.30 test on the old ram and it is ok, i also removed the network card. this computer does not have any other hardware installed aside from the floppy, cd-rom drive and hdd.
i even tried installing it with w2k server and w2k advance server and still no luck. what i did notice was that the computer always hanged/frozed on the same part of the install, "performing final tasks" exactly at the "registers components" portion. so what could be wrong with the computer?
