someone please help! i'm constantly receiving a "disk wtite error" on my second computer. it all started with an installation of a new printer. i have recently found out from the company that the printers cause the bios to create a "phantom" usb port and therefore can not be installed properly. i've tried almost everything (scandisk, etc.) anf nothing's working. would it be feasible to wipe out the drive and start over? is there any other way to correct the problem? i uninstalled any printer info/drivers that managed to make it's way onto the 'puter, but the HD is crashing and burning fast!!
