Headsets for mutiplayer FPS
Well, Christmas is almost here and I'm getting money from the folks this year and have decided that I need to enhance my online gaming experience. Specifically the audio experience. Have been playing a lot of counter strike and Joint Ops online and have noticed the increasing trend towards actual audio communication between players and have been putting off buying a headset for some time. Well, the time has arrived and I was wondering what other people on the WD forums was using since some of the online reviews are lame.
Specifically I am looking at getting a new soundcard: Creative Audigy 2 ZS Gamer LE. Next I am looking for thee headset to take advantage of this. I live in a condo so having a huge speaker system blaring at night should be avoided. I have been trying to find out info on the Zalman 5.1 surround sound headset which can be had for under 50 bucks. Anyone have any experience with these or have something else they would recommend? I know I need to buy the Mic attachment for the Zalman which is sold on zipzoomfly.com which also has everything else I want with free 2nd day air shipping
Please help me spend money!!!
TIA,
Third
