Windows update error: 0x800B0111
Hello everyone, I'm posting this for a friend of mine (MountainMan26), for some reason his computer won't let him post a new thread...I'd see what I can do for him, but I'm on my home compy and nowhere near his.
So anywho, Windows update, using IE for the updates, the page begins to check for updates and then gives the error 0x800B0111
I'll be by there later to check it out and to give more info on the compy, the computer is only a couple months old, but has been pretty good (from what I've seen/heard)
any idea why this would happen?

My specs: 900 MHz AMD T-Bird, Asus K7M Mobo., 256 MB RAM (two 128 MB Kingston SD PC-100), GeCube Radeon 9200 SE 128mb (drivers were impossible to find...still crashes because of them every now and then...i think its them...), Sound Blaster Live! 5.1, new high-speed USB 2.0 card, dual 60 GB HDD's for the heck of it (NTFS), XP Pro SP 2, Mozilla Firefox ( Spread Firefox!), single-barrel carberator, Saitek P2500 Rumbleforce, (Yes, the system is dated, but it fits my budget!) - Sockhatguy
