Internet Connection Sharing with a Mac
Hi All,
I've got a friend who has a newer model Mac (don't know the model number) which has DSL and it works great. He has an older Emachine desktop running Win98 two rooms away in his house.
I know it's easy to install a 10/100 Base Ethernet card into the desktop and then run a CAT 5 cable over to the Mac. But will this actually work? Can you network a Win98 machine with a Mac and share the DSL internet connection?
I can upgrade the Win98 to Win98SE but that is all.
TIA
