ZT1170 Wacky Colors on Monitor
I googled my way to this forum hoping to find some help. It lead me to the other post about the guy with a ZT1170 that wasn't able to view his monitor.
My problem is somewhat similar. I am able to view my monitor perfectly and the brightness is fine. What the problem is, is that the monitor's colors are odd. There seems to be a huge tint of red on the screen. Early on when this started happening, you would be able to wiggle the monitor back and forth slowly. Like this: L to < and it would sometimes fix the problem and you would slowly move it back to a viewable position. Sorry for the text laptops lol. Just trying to show a visual display. Now, I have hardly used my laptop because of this and am now seeking some advice to fix it. When I turn the LCD display it no longer fixes itself. I work for a Networking company and a co-worker thinks it's the cable that connects from the base of the laptop near the power button (inside) to the actual display itself. I'm just wondering if you guys think it is this cable or not. I know something seems to have shorted out a bit.
Thanks guys!
